The U.S. and Russia are on a military collision course… literally.

Last week, a YouTube video showed a close encounter between a U.S. Navy destroyer and Russian attack jets in the Baltic Sea. Two Russian Su-24s made several high-speed passes within 75 feet of the ship.

It didn’t take long for retaliation…

On Monday, the U.S. deployed two F-22 Raptor jets to Russia’s “backyard”—Romania. It’s the closest the lethal stealth fighters have ever been to the Russian heartland.

Regular Daily readers know we’ve covered the rising danger of military conflict between the two nuclear powers. When a mishap occurs, global equity markets will tumble.

Bottom line: The possibility of a Russian-U.S. military shootout is a “known unknown.” We can’t say it will happen with 100% certainty… but if it does, we know it will shake world markets.
