In the February 19 Daily, Chief Analyst Greg Wilson of the Legacy Portfolio told us about Robinhood. It’s a no-fee per trade online brokerage. More than $212 million has been traded without commissions through the platform to date.

Greg noted one of Robinhood’s biggest flaws was the service was available by invitation only. After being 213,618 in line last month, Greg finally made it off the waitlist.

Then, on March 12, Robinhood announced the platform is now available to the general public.

You can read Greg’s original Robinhood critique right here. To download the free Robinhood app, click here. (Note: Robinhood is available only for iOS. No word on an Android app at this time.)
